- VIII Workshop of the Financial Economics Section, León, April 3 and 4, 2025
Call for papers
We are pleased to announce the VIII Workshop organized by the Financial Economics Section of ACEDE, which will be held at the University of León on April 3 and 4, 2025. In addition to training sessions on research in Finance, there will be a presentation and discussion of the papers submitted and accepted for oral presentation.
We invite submissions by March 5, 2025. Papers should be submitted in Word or PDF format to seccion.economia.financiera@gmail.com. Papers should not exceed 10,000 words (excluding tables and appendices). Notification of papers accepted for oral presentation will be made by March 15, 2025.
All papers submitted and presented at the Workshop are eligible for the Best Paper Award of the Workshop in Financial Economics. Likewise, researchers acting as rapporteurs of the different papers will also be eligible for the Best Reviewer Award.

The Program of the VII Workshop of the Financial Economics Section of ACEDE, to be held at the University of León on April 18 and 19, 2024 is now available.
The workshop will begin on Thursday afternoon, April 18 with the presentation and discussion of the papers submitted and accepted for presentation. On Friday morning, April 19, there will be another presentation session followed by a presentation by Eleuterio Vallelado on The Challenges of the European Financial System.
We would like to invite you to attend this workshop. For logistical reasons, we would be grateful if you could register by sending the registration form to seccion.economia.financiera@gmail.com before Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
The VII Workshop organized by the Financial Economics Section of ACEDE will take place at the University of León on April 18 and 19, 2024.
The Workshop will take place during the afternoon of Thursday 18th and the morning of April 19th. In addition to a training session on research in our area, there will be a presentation and discussion of the papers submitted and accepted for oral presentation. There is also the possibility of presenting the content of a doctoral thesis in progress in poster format.
We hope to count on your participation and we would be grateful if you could make this Workshop as widely known as possible among your colleagues and PhD students. For the latter, participation in the Workshop could be considered as part of the Training Activities to be carried out by doctoral students.

The VI Workshop organized by the Financial Economics Section of ACEDE will take place at the Institutional Headquarters of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on April 20 and 21, 2023.
The workshop will begin on Thursday afternoon, April 20, with the presentation and discussion of the papers submitted and accepted for oral presentation. On Friday morning, April 21, there will be another session for the presentation of papers, followed by a methodological workshop on Textual Analysis in Finance and Accounting and, finally, a round table aimed at discussing the role of finance from the point of view of professionals.
In addition to a training session on research in our area, there will be a presentation and discussion of the papers submitted and accepted for oral presentation. There is also the possibility of presenting the content of a doctoral thesis in progress in poster format.
We invite submissions by March 12, 2023. Papers should be sent in Word or PDF format to seccion.economia.financiera@gmail.com. Papers should not exceed 10,000 words (not including tables and appendices). Notification of papers accepted for oral presentation will be made by March 24, 2023.

The III Workshop organized by the Financial Economics Section of ACEDE will take place at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Murcia on April 4 and 5, 2019.
The workshop will start on April 4 in the afternoon with the presentation and discussion of the papers submitted and accepted for oral presentation. On Friday morning, April 5, there will be two sessions aimed at guiding researchers in the application for research projects in competitive calls.
The deadline for submission of papers will be open until March 10, 2019. Papers should be sent in full in Word or PDF format to the following address: seccion.economia.financiera@gmail.com. Papers should not exceed 10,000 words (not including tables and annexes). Notification of papers accepted for oral presentation will be made before March 25.

- April 3, 2017. II Workshop on Financial Economics - Santander
The Financial Economics Section of ACEDE, together with the Santander Financial Institute (SANFI), organizes the II Workshop to be held in Santander on April 3.
The theme of this workshop is “Emerging trends in banking research ” and its objective is to promote research and contribute from an academic point of view to the current debate on banking activity. In addition to the presentation of academic papers, we will have the presence of Jens Hagendorf, professor and researcher at Cardiff University and expert in the study of banking.
The deadline for receipt of papers is March 10. A certificate of participation will be issued and a Prize will be awarded for the best paper.
