The Financial Economics section of the Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management was created in 2016.
This section of ACEDE aims to promote scientific research and teaching in Financial Economics encompassing, among others, the following topics: corporate finance, market finance, management of financial institutions, sustainable finance, behavioral finance, international finance, and corporate governance.
The section organizes annually, since 2016, a Workshop in Finance. This is a Seminar in which, in addition to presenting and discussing research papers on topics specific to the area, there is room for other types of sessions on issues of interest to academics, researchers and professionals related to research and teaching within the field of finance. The members of the section also meet annually at the ACEDE pre-congress day to share experiences and establish a guide for the section's activities.
On the other hand, from the section we would like to count on all of you to explore new proposals to strengthen our collaboration ties and increase our visibility. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can jointly analyze any new idea that will allow us to move forward in both directions.
Section members may send their queries and suggestions to the Section president or Vice-president:
