Since 2010, the section's Workshop (ACEDEDOT OMTech) has been held with the aim of bringing together researchers and teachers in the area of Operations and Technology, to establish a working environment and a forum for academic and research discussion, fostering the exchange of experiences and ideas. The papers presented deal, preferentially, with innovative teaching techniques, teaching methodologies or practical workshops for the teaching of Operations Management.

Every year, coinciding with the Annual International Conference of the Scientific Association of Business Administration and Management (ACEDE), the Operations Management and Technology Section holds its assembly. A meeting point to debate and share ideas that allow for the continuous improvement of our section. This assembly also holds the election of the section's management team, which takes place every two years.
