The section on Business and Society of the Scientific Association of Business Economics and Management (E&S) was created on June 24, 2018.
This section of ACEDE aims to promote scientific research and teaching in everything related to the social and environmental impact of business encompassing, among others, issues concerning social, economic and environmental sustainability.
The section organizes every two years, since 2019, a Workshop in research on business and society. This is a Seminar in which research papers on this topic are presented, held during the autumn in odd-numbered years.
Another of the initiatives developed by the section is the recent periodic launching of a Newsletter in audio format (podcast). This Newsletter is intended not only to disseminate the results of our research activity, but also to serve as a tool to detect new research and collaboration opportunities, as well as to reflect on issues related to professional careers, teaching and research training in our area.
