Business Strategy Section Workshop

The 17th Workshop of the Business Strategy Section of ACEDE, titled "Strategic Management in the Face of Current Economic and Social Challenges," will take place on February 13 and 14, 2025, at Universidad Jaume I (Castellón).

The workshop will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, February 13, and throughout the morning and afternoon of Friday, February 14. Its goal is to discuss and reflect on how recent economic and social challenges impact the field of Strategic Management.

The workshop is structured into four sessions, where different aspects of this topic will be analyzed. These discussions will allow us to:

• Rethink the fundamental principles of our discipline,
• Reflect on the concentration of decision-making power in companies,
• Explore how academia can expand its influence and opinion-shaping role, and
• Debate how business strategy courses should adapt to these major challenges.
