ACEDE-ECN Workshop: How to turn your research into news (and not die trying)
On Tuesday, March 24, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (CET), the ACEDE-ECN Webinar on science communication , "How to Turn Your Research into News (and Not Die Trying)," will be held. It will be presented by Carlos Centeno Cuadros, Director of Communication at the University of Granada. The webinar will be broadcast online in Spanish via the ACEDE intranet.

This webinar will introduce participants to the fundamentals of science communication and the key role journalists play as mediators between the research community and society. It will analyze how science news is constructed in the media and explain the process of writing a press release based on a research paper, identifying what information is relevant to the public and what communication professionals need. The session will include a guided exercise in writing a press release based on a research article.
