The peer review process is a cornerstone of quality assurance in business and management research. However, the experience of this process varies significantly depending on the role played—author, reviewer, associate editor, or editor-in-chief. This interactive workshop examines these different perspectives, highlighting the tensions and compromises that arise at critical stages such as initial editorial rejection, requests for revision and resubmission, and final acceptance. Through practical examples, participants will explore how these dynamics influence decision-making and outcomes. The session will conclude with practical recommendations and best practices for successfully navigating the peer review process, providing attendees with a comprehensive view from all perspectives involved.
