The Operations Management and Technology (OMTech) division of the Spanish Academy of Economics and Management (ACEDE) was constituted in September 2009.
Its main objective is to promote training and research related to Operations Management, Quality, Innovation, Technology, Information Systems, Environment and Prevention of Occupational Risks.
OMTech division organizes annually, since 2010, a Workshop in Operations Management and Technology (OmTech). It is a seminar in which brief communications related to teaching and research methodology in the field of Operations Management and Technology are presented.
Another initiative developed by the division is the periodical publication of a Newsletter since 2014. This Newsletter not only intends to promote the result of our researching activity, but also serves as an excellent tool to find and identify new opportunities of research and collaboration. Therefore, we encourage you to continue contributing to the consolidation of this project.
On the other hand, this division would like to count on you all to explore and discover new proposals to help create closer ties and have our visibility enhanced. Do not hesitate to contact our team for us to be able to analyze together any new idea that allows the advancement in both directions.
