The Business and Society division of ACEDE was founded on the 24th June, 2018.
The goal of B&S is to foster scientific research and teaching on issues related to the social and environmental implications of business activities, including issues related to economic, social and environmental sustainability.
The division organizes since 2019 a biannual Research Workshop on Business and Society. Workshops take place every “odd” year and their aim is to get together the latest scientific research on sustainability issues. In addition, the division is planning to arrange a teaching seminar to be held on “pair” years starting in 2022.
Another initiative of B&S is the recent launch of a newsletter in audio/podcast format. This podcast aims to promote recent advances in research on this research area and constitute a place where our community of scholars can detect new research opportunities and reflect on career and teaching issues.
We would like to make you all feel involved in elaborating new proposals to streamline collaboration and visibility. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us to tell us about your new idea or project.
