The division on Family Business of the Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management was created on 14 September 2009.
This division of ACEDE aims to analyze, investigate and make known the reality of this type of family business. Topics of the family business are addressed, such as innovation, culture, the influence of the family in the company, government, internationalization, human resource management, etc.
The dissemination of knowledge about family businesses among undergraduate and master's students is also promoted. The division organizes an annual Workshop in family businesses in which specialized speakers take part.
Another of the initiatives developed by the division is the periodic launch of a Newsletter. This Newsletter not only aims to disseminate the results of our research activity, but also to become an excellent tool to detect new research and collaboration opportunities.
On the other hand, from the division, we would like all of you to explore new proposals to strengthen our collaboration ties and increase our visibility. Therefore, do not hesitate to contact us so that we can jointly analyze any new idea that allows us to move in both directions.
The members of the division can send their questions and suggestions to the Secretary of the division,
President: Remedios Hernández Linares (Extremadura University)
Vicepresident: María Asunción Sacristán Navarro (Rey Juan Carlos University)
Secretary: José María Fernández Yáñez (Universitat Jaume I)
