ECN-ACEDE WORKSHOP From myth to reality: Human-AI collaboration in systematic reviews

On Wednesday, December 11th from 17:45 to 19:15 (CET) the Workshop "From myth to reality: Human-AI collaboration in systematic reviews" will take place. It will be taught by Juan Antonio Marín-García, Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia . It will be broadcast online and in Spanish through the ACEDE Intranet.
This workshop will focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence as a support tool in systematic literature reviews. Specifically, we will address the process of refining research questions and critically analyzing results in automated searches, demystifying promises about full automation. Participants will learn:
- Criteria for evaluating AI tools in the context of SLR
- Hybrid methodology combining expert judgment and artificial assistance
- Strategies for refining research questions with AI support
- Efficient screening techniques for large volumes of results
- Current limitations of AI in systematic reviews
Aimed at people seeking to optimize their systematic review process while maintaining methodological rigor. It is recommended to be familiar with the PRISMA Guidelines to better utilize the activity.
